I give you my word, I give you my heart

It’s not every weekend that I have the pleasure of documenting a marriage not only between two people, but two families. Linh, Mark & their kids all planned and held a beautiful wedding at the Grand Traditions in Fallbrook. I could see it all in their eyes and unexpected hugs & kisses throughout the day, that this was not an exception from the happiest day of their lives. Linh and Mark shares a love unlike any other, she only needs nothing more then his oncoming love letters and he’s constantly blown away by her beauty, inside-out.

such sweet kids to have in the bridal party!

His daughter’s reading

Her laughter is contagious I tell ya..

Now that’s a grand entrance!

Did I mention Linh’s an amazing singer? Dedicating “From this Moment” to her husband.

Such a cute family!

UP starring Mimi & Kelvin

Facebook fans voted and VOILA, here they are! I was at lost of words through out their shoot and was constantly laughing. Their love was so playful, young, and full of colors, literally. It might have been the balloons, their obsession with cute stuffies, her contagious smile, or the way he rocked that bow tie. But it was also their chemistry that was so captivating. We hope you enjoy this radiant UP photoshoot. =)

Because sometimes, its just better to believe =)

Lets go for a Picnic

I’ve been inching to get some time to blog again, its been a while! This year is busier than ever and here’s a fun one I want to share. So I finally found a chance to photograph my first “Jenny” client and we got along like peas and carrots from the start (must be the Jenny thing)! Here it goes, meet Jenny and Issai!

Aren’t they just lovely? I was lost for words when they decided to turn this engagement into something extra special. They’re passionate artists and musicians. And their everlasting love story inspired this beautiful vintage picnic theme. I feel so lucky to have such amazing clients =)

What’s yours is mine!

This is one of my favorite shots of the day. Taking this photo was a moment I will never forget. Issai is so talented in this element, playing the sweetest raw melodies right off his finger tips to the women he’ll spend the rest of his life with.

But Jenny of course looks better rocking the guitar haha jk Issai =P

Snack time!

Every couple should have a favorite drink!

Shooting into the night, playing with lights!

Yes, this wedding is going to be fun! Congrats Issai and JENNY!

Autumn Fairytale

Lets switch it up a bit… Time to go to New Jersey for a wedding! I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was, mainly because of two awesome reasons.

1. Autumn was at its prime! “Saweeeeet, this is photo heaven!” was the first thing I said when we landed. There’s nothing like it in San Diego, shooting away under a warm and colorful canopy of leaves. I love Autumn Weddings =)

2. It was my cousin’s wedding!!! *tears*

Watching Oscar adore Jade’s silly beauty all day made me see how they compliment each other in so many perfect ways. They’re both extremely successful, good people, and shared a love unlike any other. I know people say it all the time, but seriously… the entire day was flawless, a fairytale. Check out the photos for yourself! (Did I mention there was a Food Heaven too? Warning, you might get hungry ;] )  And Oscar, welcome to the Family!

Although its not a trend at the moment, I know it will be! Having just red as the solid wedding color. It was simple… simply stands for LOVE.

rosey red lips

Looking good Oscar!

Snow was melting, leaves were changing and falling!

Having fans instead of bouquets to add a hint of culture, love it.

Happiness was everywhere! From bubbles to falling leaves!

Time for cocktail hour!

Pastas, cheese, mini burgers, fried calamari, drinks, bruchetta, fish, pork, grilled steak, lamb, chicken, noodles, veggies, ETC, it was ALL there!

The reception was at the Royal Manor. And that cake was sitting on an ICE sculpture!

Grand Entrance. That’s my cousin Richard, American most eligible bachelor, ladies!

More Food!!

Dad was so proud =)

Grandma!!! Isn’t she cute?

My Uncle’s so hip!

Cousins Felice and Richard, and my Sisters and I, good times =)

Letting Loose

After Ash’s jungle shoot, we headed straight to San Diego’s Black Beach for a fun sexy beach shoot! Here I got to capture her free and beautiful spirit. She’s so much fun to work with and was open to any idea I swung at her. The best part was capturing her running back and forth from the beach, ocean, and sand, just laughing and letting loose. Going to start off with one of my favorite portraits:

Love the colors the mango evoked throughout this photo

Ash, you look amazing!

Perfect end to a great day… This was definitely one of my most favorite photoshoots!

Jungle Fashion with Ash

Whenever Ashleigh approaches me for photos for her modeling portfolio, I just KNOW its going to be exciting because we got crazy Passion for Fashion Photography! (and she’s pretty hot)! “Jenny, I want to do a JUNGLE THEME!”, she said to me the moment we began our planning and I just knew we were going to get along again :] This girl’s amazing: she works out religiously to stay in shape, does her own hair and make-up, stylized her entire shoot, and is a wonderful professional model! Check her out for yourself ;]

We both knew we had to have the perfect jungle environment for the shoot so we flew to the Amazon Rainforest… hehe just kidding, but this is pretty legit right?! Lucky for us, San Diego has hidden gems, and her very own little rainforest in the San Diego Botanical Garden in Encinitas.

Jungle Mist by her bf Ramy :D

Told ya she’s amazing.

Thirsty

I wish I could pull off green eyes…

Love this strong shot

Leopard on the watch. There were poisonous spiders everywhere we walked and crawled. And these weren’t normal spiders, my bite lasted and itched for 2 months! But it was worth it =]
